We usually get pizza here and love it. I decided to get a garden salad with chicken. Noticed that have a new order online option so I went for it. There was no option to choose what type of lettuce I wanted. I didn’t know it only came with iceberg. There were literally three Kalamata olives in it and a slice of the top of a green pepper. I opted to add grilled chicken. The chicken was dry and not very tasty. I was disappointed in this salad. Hopefully they do better because we really do like this place.
Overview
Socrates Pizza Scituate brings a neighborhood dining option to 985 Chopmist Hill Rd North, Scituate, RI 02857, giving local residents and visitors an easy-to-identify destination when pizza is on the agenda. The Scituate location is useful for anyone searching for a casual meal in this part of Rhode Island, whether the plan involves a quick bite or picking up food for a relaxed meal at home. Its straightforward identity also makes the restaurant approachable: the name tells diners exactly what kind of food experience to expect without unnecessary complication.
Pizza naturally sits at the center of the conversation here. For diners comparing local pizza restaurants, some of the most important considerations are usually crust, sauce, cheese, toppings, portion size, consistency, and overall value. Those details can make the difference between a pizza that simply satisfies hunger and one that becomes a repeat order. Because no specific menu items, ingredients, sizes, prices, or preparation methods were supplied, it would be misleading to describe particular pizzas or claim signature dishes. Checking the current menu directly is therefore the most reliable way to see what choices are available before ordering.
The location is another practical part of the appeal. Situated on Chopmist Hill Road North, Socrates Pizza Scituate provides a clearly defined local option for people looking for food around Scituate. When comparing locations, diners may want to consider travel time, ordering convenience, current opening hours, and whether the restaurant's available menu fits the needs of the group. Families, individuals, and groups often have different priorities, so reviewing current choices can help avoid surprises.
Reviews can also provide useful context, particularly when they focus on specific aspects of the dining experience rather than broad praise or criticism. Comments about order accuracy, food consistency, waiting times, portion sizes, and service can be more informative than a simple star rating. Recent reviews are especially useful because restaurant operations and menus can change over time. Looking for patterns across several customer experiences gives a more balanced picture than relying on a single opinion.
For first-time customers, the best approach is to judge Socrates Pizza Scituate on the factors that matter most for a neighborhood pizza restaurant: the quality and consistency of the food, menu variety, value, ordering experience, and convenience of the location. Without verified information about individual dishes, prices, dietary choices, delivery, or additional services, those details should not be assumed. What can be established is that diners searching for Socrates Pizza Scituate can find the restaurant at 985 Chopmist Hill Rd North in Scituate, Rhode Island, and use its current menu and recent customer reviews to decide what suits their meal plans.

I got a sandwich from them and there was little to no meat in their Italian sub. I would have been better off ordering from Subway
They are very nice, family owned as you can tell how much they care about their business. Placed my order to dine in, the place was packed lots of takeouts. The pizza was really really good the crust was delicious. I recommend this place 100%
Best pizza in town. Considering the prices for everything these days, it is still a good deal for the quality. My go to pizza place!
Had the chicken salad on a hot day hit the spot. Fresh bread, chicken salad was seasoned perfectly. Food came out in a timely manner. Service with a smile. Would recommend and will return.
Great location, clean and friendly. However, very disappointed with my meatball grinder size. They only got one size and one price up on the menu. So for $21 with a drink i got a just bigger then a hot dog bun torpedo roll. Keep the chips. Get a large size guys. Come on!
